Notes on Delias aestiva :

Delias aestiva was before classified as a subspecies of Delias mysis. Mickael Braby raised in 2012 aestiva as full species. He also showed that D. aestiva larvaes feed on an Euphorbiaceae unlike the large majority of Delias species who feed on Loranthaceae.
It is a rare species in collection.

Mickael Braby also showed in 2014 that Delias mysis smithersi is actually a subspecies of Delias aestiva (article in the Records of the Australian Museum (2014) Vol. 66, issue number 5, pp. 241–246.).
